John Turk commenced business some 36 years ago as an electrical wholesaler. After a long history in the electrical industry selling for Eric J. Grays, John recognised a need in the wholesale electrical industry for someone to service the industry with superior service and to hold stock over a complete range.
Business commenced from his first site at Artarmon in 1972 and grew rapidly as customers enjoyed the best service at the very best prices.
John sadly passed away on the 16th April 1987.
The business today has over 52 outlets covering NSW, ACT, QLD, and VIC and stocks approximately 200,000 products throughout the group. The business continues to grow rapidly.
John’s motto of service to the customer at the very best prices still lives on today.
In July 1998 the John Turk Family sold their business to Rexel S.A. an international wholesaler of electrical and data supplies who boasts over 1200 branches world wide with enormous growth in all divisions of their business.
